n on our last day. The AC unit was replaced 2 days after it broke down. Having stayed in several villas over the years, these issues could be overlooked however the main problem we had was with the staff. The service we received from the 2 ladies assigned to look after us was disappointing and by far the worst we have come across. We may have been spoilt by the great service we've received elsewhere in the past, but from the start, the staff were just not very pleasant, or communicative and we generally felt that we were sèen as a nuisance rather than as guests. The food was very mediocre but did improve 2 days before our departure. It seemed odd that the quality of the food was inconsistent. Despite sending our menu for the first few days which included tea and coffee, we were surprised at an exchange about milk and ketchup on the first day where we were told that the milk that was there was “theirs”, so we had to kindly ask if we could use “theirs” and replace it when next the shopping was done. Neither the house nor our rooms were cleaned at any time during our stay. There were too many other incidents to detail here, but overall the stay was disappointing due to the service provided by staff.
