is plenty of space. They were also very well stocked. The staff was prepared, very flexible with our needs and professional. Anything that we needed, we just asked for and they were happy to make us comfortable.
Sophia is a great cook and prepares great meals that will excite your taste buds with local cuisine.
Tanesha and Marsha were wonderful and kept up with the group.
TahJay was always at the ready to take us to local places and fill us in on the history of Duncan’s. Our 5th time to Silver Sands and we will be back.
The only negative that I would report is that some of the exterior property needs some TLC, you could tell storms had caused some wind damage and I felt the owner of the home could have taken more care to keep the curb appeal/outdoor amenities, clean up and repairs consistent with the cost of the rental. All interior was cared for by the staff and well kept.

I have been coming to Silver Sands Resort for 34 years. I have stayed at several villas. In all the years that I have been coming to Silver Sands I have never had the treatment that I experienced at Day-O & Day Light Villas, during my three week stay. Mrs. Manderson should be ashamed of what this property looks like after she has poured her hard-earned money in. The upkeep is horrible and discussing. I was staying at Day-O before she brought it, so I know what was there before Day Light was built.The pictures on the website are old pictures. It did not look like that when I arrived.The pool needs to be closed and painted. It had algae in it the day I arrived. The house was dirty with broken furniture in it. Monique did not do a good job of cleaning, she sat on her but most of the time. The beds were hard in all the bedrooms, my guest complained to me.
The only joy I had was the cook, Tahne Reid made the stay bearable. Tahne was a very good cook. I have been in Jamaica 34 years and all of the foods that she prepared was delicious. I had food prepared in different ways than I had ever known. She even was talking to my guest about the different foods that Jamaica had. She was talking about the natural remedies that you can use for hair loss, and high blood pressure etc. She was helpful in every way. I will return to Silver Sands Resort but I will not stay here and I don't suggest any one else to do so.
