Very Short Stays
FOOD & MEALS
1. Bring Your Own.
If you are staying for a few days, you could plan ahead and make some one-pot meals at home. Freeze them and bring them with you. Defrost and heat up at the villa - there is a microwave oven and large gas oven.
2. Hire a Local Cook/Housekeeper.
Mysilversands can arrange for you to hire an experienced cook/housekeeper (someone we know and trust) with whom you can make your own arrangements - hours of work, etc. You pay that staff directly. The Staff Area may be locked off from the rest of the house by bolting the Kitchen door which leads to the Staff Area or the door which leads from the Dining Room to the Kitchen. There are bolts on either side of each Kitchen door, so you may have complete privacy.
3. Bring Your Own Staff.
Do you have your own staff? Maybe you have small children and want to bring your baby-sitter? We have a private Staff Bedroom with adjacent Staff Bathroom in the Staff Area behind the kitchen. It's available FREE for one Staff to use during your stay with us. Remember you will be responsible for the conduct of your staff.
4. Order Food from Local Restaurants & Cookshops for Delivery.
We can provide you with a list and menus, from people just nextdoor at the Fisherman's Beach to providers in Duncans, Carey Park, and others nearby. Most will deliver FREE.
5. Bring Your Own Ingredients.
While the kitchen is fully equipped, for health and safety reasons, there will be no supplies of condiments or other basics in the kitchen. Please bring your own (least expensive option) or shop locally. We can advise you on the location of local grocery stores, meat shops, fruit and veg vendors, etc.
Longer Stays
If you are staying for 4 nights or more, if you wish, we will provide housekeeping service to clean and change linens halfway through your stay at no charge to you. This will be done by appointment and we will require you to vacate the areas during the cleaning process. Our Staff will wear face masks and practise social distancing.
