. . . fresh catch of the day, woodcarvers, craft vendors, food & drink, and public swimming beach
And now our home, the office of Mysilversands Villas Jamaica
Cabanas topped with coconut palms, lounge chairs, and lots of white sand... A great public bathing beach in honour of the renowned civil servant, Jacob Taylor.
Enjoy a truly Jamaican experience. Take a stroll over to the newly renovated Fisherman's Beach! You will find an array of little shops, each manned by a true Jamaican entrepreneur. You will also find a small fishing community going about its business as it always has. Take your time and soak in the atmosphere. We have always found the folks over there to be warm and friendly, and never pushy.
Take your time. You will be surprised at how much you will enjoy watching the fishermen come in with their catch. Or buy a drink and a snack and sit with some of the locals and watch a wood carver at work. Ask him to make something special that you have always wanted. We once saw a carver make some six inch teeth for a dentist!
