Mysilversands Bob Marley Birthday Celebration 2011 at Silver Sands Jamaica

Bob Marley was born in the small village of Nine Mile in St. Ann, Jamaica, on 6 February 1945. Widely recognized as the man who put Jamaican music in the hearts of millions worldwide, Bob Marley may still be the most popular and most famous Jamaican ever, perhaps eclipsing the lovable Usain Bolt, the Olympic sprint champion and world record holder.

Mysilversands paid homage to Bob Marley by celebrating his birthday with a party and trivia quiz on the beach patio at Silver Sands Jamaica on 6 February 2011. Bob Marley’s music filled the air and Steve, butler from Windjammer Villa, hosted the quiz with several guests winning prizes.

Villa Mart offered a range of Bob Marley souvenirs at special discount prices to celebrate the day.
