Rum Jetty Cottage - Living Room

The Living Room of Rum Jetty beach cottage is the social centre of the house, featuring a wonderful old-fashioned bar. The open-rafter ceiling and original cut-stone highlights add charm and character to the room. Designed for the tropics, cross-ventialtion is excellent  due to the high ceiling, and doors and windows on the North, East and South sides of the room. Note, the eight-blade ceiling fans. And portable pedestal fans are also available.

Step out of the living room through either set of double bifold doors onto the breezy verandah overlooking the beach.

There are pleasant views of the garden through a wide window and double doors. You may access the bedrooms from the Living Room without stepping out onto the Verandah.

A Living Room wall features a very large detailed map of Jamaica.
